  • May News
Sad and exciting news for May at Fiber-frolics

Sad: I will be giving up the spacious brightly lit space at 220 Tyler St. Studio 22 by the end of May. We will all miss the wonderful space and the light and air in this studio.

Exciting: I will be opening the studio in a much smaller space centrally located on First Street. Stay tuned for the new address and opening date. I will hopefully have the same phone number (747- YARN) so you can call for updates, or you can email me at fiber-frolics@att..net

I am very happy to be coming back to First Street and bringing a centrally located store and studio that will serve all your fiber needs.

This week-end is OPEN STUDIOS in BENICIA
I will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

Drop by the Arts Benicia Gallery to get a map and see the KNITTING DIVA on exhibit

Come by the Studio and get some great bargains on sale yarns and knitted items. Most yarns will be on sale from 10% to 50% off marked prices.

Visit with Stephanie Gray, admire and purchase her paintings and gourd art,

Or pick up one of Rana Nassarâs ceramic pieces

Or, just come by to knit and enjoy the company.

Yarn sale will continue through the first two weeks of May, but come soon for the best selection.
I will try to keep regular business hours for the first two weeks in May, but you might want to call to make sure that I am here.

I am looking forward to seeing you soon at Studio 22 or on First Street this Summer.

Thank you for your support!

Vintage Cotton from Karabella, Pima cotton from Cascade and assorted linens are perfect for many of these projects and lovely colors are in stock at the Studio. We will select some of these patterns for Wednesday classes in April.

The Eco vest pattern available free from Interweave designed by Katie Himmelberg is also a lovely spring project for those cooler summer evenings.Cascade 220, Eco wool or Eco duo can be used to make this delightful vest. (you can find it at "make a knit vest: 5 Free Knitted Vest Patterns from KnittingDaily") Wednesday classes in April can also make this delightful vest.
